I’m not sure why, but I can’t help feeling like maybe there is a subliminal message in this haiku.
Clean out, dust off, search,
Every corner of my mind,
More haiku are found.

You may change your situation but did your mind stay in it?
For those who believe that love is love, that men and women - while disparate in many fascinating ways - deserve equal respect, that every right and dignity should be given to LGBTQ individuals, that oppression based on class and race is wrong in every sense of the word, and that basset hounds just might be the solution to most of the world's problems/harbingers of global peace.
